Unintentional Vlog, Karma Police Style

I wanted to test the video function on my new phone and ended up with this. I learned two things from this:

1) My Boston accent is painfully apparent.
2) I really do have a tendency to ramble.

There, my vlog cherry has been officially popped.

You have a nice voice and I like the accent! I know what you mean about thinking about stuff when you're driving - especially on a route you do every day.

lol, you have a bit of an accent, but i wouldn't guess boston. i dunno, i'm probably not the best person to judge since most of my impression of boston accents comes from that old saturday night live skit with rachel dratch and (i think) jimmy fallon. the people i've actually met from boston don't usually sound like that though :)

i listened to the whole thing. i loved hearing your voice. to me, it is a strong accent, but i love accents, so no worries.
but i know exactly what you mean by being self-conscious. i've been that all my life, but even more so now because of my age. i hate looking in the mirror, not only because i don't like what i see, but also because i lose confidence to do what i love to do, which is go to concerts, and also interview bands. and everyone i see when i do these activities is young enough to be my child. despite the fact that matt is always telling me that nobody gives a damn about it, i have to constantly fight against the fear that everyone is looking at me and saying, "isnt' she a little old for this?"
